I want to hire an independent project consultant. Where should I start?

You can start by signing up for a Flexing It business account. Then, submit your requirements online in just a few minutes through our project posting module . Our team will then validate your account, verify the project details, and contact you regarding the next steps.

What happens once I post a requirement?

We verify your project details and contact you within 24 hours. For projects with sufficient information, our account manager validates key details through a call, discusses critical requirements, and guides project improvement. The Account Manager screens candidates based on fitment, capacity, availability, and budget, presenting 3-4 shortlisted candidates for interviews. Upon a successful match, Flexing It assists in consultant onboarding.

I have a rough budget for the role. Is that okay?

When submitting your project, specify the budget by hours, weeks, months, or for the entire project. A budget range aids in matching consultants effectively. Skip if you prefer not to share by marking "I do not have a budget currently." Use FeeBee, our free budgeting tool , for industry benchmarks. Our Account Manager can provide specific rates for shortlisted consultants.

How does contracting work?

Upon Master Services Agreement activation with Flexing It, your Business Account includes

Dashboard analytics & project management
Account management for all your projects
Consultant contracting & monthly payments facilitation
Access to timesheets, invoices for payments reconciliation
Information & data security (covered under ISO 27001)

Do you undertake background checks of your consultants?

All consultants on our platform are verified for skill profile completion and background. For each consultant, you can see the following badges:
FlexCheck+: Signifying verification of at least 1 previous employment and 1 reference.
FlexCheck: Indicating verification of either 1 previous employment or 1 reference.
If you need more checks, we offer Background Verification (BGV)Services through a credible 3rd party vendor, at an additional cost.

What is Flexing It’s Fee?

Flexing It charges project-based fees along with consultant fees. For ad-hoc requests, we offer budget-based pricing and this includes our service fees. For recurring needs, we offer slab-based pricing. This is agreed during the contracting stage, and prior to onboarding any consultant. Wherever local taxes are applicable (e.g., GST in India), this will be part of the invoicing.
